Here is a nice PINBACK from a long-time UNCLE SAM COLLECTION that was passed on to me----over 200 items will be listed ranging from the late 1800s until now.       CHECK BACK as I will be listing these over the next few weeks.     This is a vintage pinback, circa 1898 from the SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR showing UNCLE SAM PUNCHING A SPANIARD with REMEMBER THE MAINE GOSH DARN YER on the front.       The back has a paper insert with MADE BY THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK N.J. U.S.A. with copyright dates ranging up to JULY 21, 1896.      It measures 1 1/4" across.
