    Description

A fabulous quality antique English, solid 18 carat gold spinner seal fob, wearable as a charm or pendant. Its frame is entwined snakes with coiled tails making the ring and tiny snake faces holding the spinner. It's set to one side with an unengraved bloodstone agate seal and to the other with a red and white sardonyx seal gothically engraved with the initials 'JAE'. It has an oversized gold connecting ring that was originally a clasp. It's a prime example of classic Victorian quality and luxury and is in superb condition throughout.
It dates from around 1880, weighs 11.0 grams and measures 30 x 26 mm overall, excluding the loose ring. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coin for scale, which measures 19 mm / ¾ of an inch diameter.
