Antique Vintage Signed UNGER Sterling Folding Miniature Button Hook - 1872-1910

Description

Up for auction is this tiny Art Nouveau sterling silver buttonhook. It measures just over 3 inches long when opened and 1 3/4 inches long when closed. It is in good condition with only one flaw that I can see. Where the decorative outer shell folds over to create a sleeve for the hook, one of the folds has come apart (See pic #4.) The piece is still secure and the small break does not compromise the working of the button hook. Both the front and back of the outer shell is marked with the Unger Bros. "UB" and the words Sterling 925 Fine. If desired, the button hook needs to be cleaned. Shipped with USPS First Class.
