Extremely fine 14K Yellow Gold Griffin - Dragon Hair Comb

Description

This is an amazing hair comb. It presented in very fine condition with no breaks or cracks in the comb what so ever. The top of the comb is riveted from the back, that attaches the 14k (585) yellow gold fame. The gold frame has lifted a bit from the comb but not loose. The center of the comb is adorned with a fabulous cast griffin or dragon, also in solid 14K yellow gold. He is fabulously detailed and in marvelous condition. This is a stunning heirloom. It dates from the mid 1800s. No hallmarks have been located but tested and confirmed as 14k solid gold.
