    Description

    This is a Victorian Era Solid 14K Yellow Gold Brooch / Pendant & Pierced Ear Earrings Demi Parure.  I recently acquired this at a local auction where it was stated that the set has had some work done on the pieces.  The pieces are not marked but acid test to 14K (except the pin in the Brooch / Pendant has had its original 14K Pin replaced with a solid 10K Pin and the original loop for the brooch to also be worn as a pendant has been replaced with a new 14K Gold loop.  The only other work on the pieces was the original clasps on the earrings have been replaced with modern French Wires each marked 14K.)
    Each piece has an openwork oval center dangle featuring a rope design through the center.  The brooch / pendant and earrings are in good condition with no unsightly marks or dents.  The Brooch / pendant measures 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inch tall and the Earrings measure 1 1/2 inches tall (from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the dangle.  The 3 piece set weighs 12.1 grams on my digital postal scale.
